Former owner's signature, dated 1926, to ffep.. Some pages unopened. No signs of foxing, very clean. Lacking dust jacket. Like "Don Quixote", the novel is really much ado about nothing, and it has entertained readers for over 250 years.** Laurence Sterne (1713-1768) was an Anglo-Irish priest and novelist famous for two classic novels, "Tristram Shandy" and "A Sentimental Journey Through France and Italy" (1768). ** Boston publishers, Boni and Liveright, published some of the most important authors of the modernist era, before going bankrupt in 1929. OCLC 973465. . Hard Cover. Near Fine.
