Cloth, gilt cover-title, 8vo,. xiii, 342, [2], plus 31, [1] pp Methuen publisher's catalogue dated September 1911 at end, frontispiece portrait and 37 ills. A copy owned by the bookbinding historians Geoffrey Hobson and his son Anthony Hobson, with Geoffrey's pencil signature on the front pastedown endpaper and his extensive pencil notes on the front endpapers, and numerous pencil marks to margins; Anthony Hobson's booklabel on the verso of the front free endpaper. Front board slightly bruised, rear endpapers cracked at hinge, otherwise Good.
