A good copy with some rubbing to edges and fraying to spine head. The spine is solid brown while the boards are faded to a mottled blue and brown. 332 pp + Editorial Note. Frontispiece and seven full-page colour plates by E. McKnight Kauffer as called for; coloured by hand using the pochoir process. Seven of the eight tissue-guards are present with some creasing, browning and chips to edges.
