Good in pebbled green cloth, spine titles and cover illustration in gilt, moderate rubbing, modest edge wear, corner wear. Numerous illustrations. Prev. owner's name dated 1873. 4 pages rear adverts. John Hanson Beadle (1840-1897) editor of the Utah Reporter, wrote disparagingly of Mormonism, convinced that the whole system was corrupt -- resulting in a severe beating.. Thick octavo. 540p (p). Hardcover. Very Good.
