Pp. 252; frontispiece plate, 7 full page illustrations (fine woodcuts). Publisher's ornately blind-stamped brown cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine, 12mo (6 x 4 inches). This is an early biography of the incidents and adventures in the life of Audubon (Zimmer, p. 486). The first edition is rather scarce. No ownership marks.
