About This Item
The Viking Press, 1956. First Edition. Hardcover. Good+ in Good dust jacket. Clean pages except for a prior owner's name on the front endpaper and a touch of toning in the margins; the hard cover bears gentle toning at all panels, some fading of the color, and small spots of wear at corners, and the dust jacket shows a pair of clear droplet spots at the middle front, small abraded patches at the right rear, and noticeable age-toning at all panels as well as a few short, closed edge tears, a line of little scuffs along each foreedge, and some chipping at corners and spine ends, yet remains overall attractive, now protected in a clear sleeve.
