London, New York, Bombay and Calcutta: Longmans, Green, and Co, 1910 A good copy of the1st edition in the original decorative cloth binding with 6 colour plates and numerous black and white illustrations by H J Ford. The binding has gilt decoration to front board and decoration and titles to the spine. Aeg. The binding is tight, with a reasonably clean and bright front board that has a little spotting towards the bottom. The lilac colour is faded towards the spine which is also faded, with some pulling to the top and bottom. It is slightly cocked to the front. The back board has some spotting and some light staining towards the outer side edge. The rear corners are slightly turned. The contents are complete with a 2 page publisher's listing at the rear. They are generally very clean, but with occasional marking - most generally at the edges.
