Inscribed on the title page: "14 October '93 For Joe [Brainard] & Kenward [Elmslie] at Poet's Corner This book of anecdotes to muse upon, with their friend's love & gratitude, Bill." A guide to various literary landmarks in New England. Calais, Vermont receives brief mention as the burial place of John Latouche and as an inspiration for a number of James Schuyler poems, though neither Elmslie nor his Poet's Corner residence are mentioned by name. From the library of poet, librettist, and publisher Kenward Elmslie (1929-2022).
