New York: Harper & Row, Publishers, (1957). Post 1962 Reprint. Fine in printed, glossy, pictorial paper covered boards. An octavo measuring 8 1/2 by 6 inches with a prior owner's book plate on the front paste down behind the jacket flap. In a near fine, non-plasticized dust jacket matching the paper covered boards. The front flap shows a black-out price above which is printed a price of $2.50. The lower corner of the front flap is clipped. The verso side of the jacket lists the other titles in the Harper I CAN READ Books. The upper fore corner of the rear panel at the fold to the rear flap shows a minor 1/8" chip and there is minor, faint soiling to the spine area. An "I Can Read Book". 63 pages with illustrations by Maurice Sendak. A very fine copy with a prior owner's book plate on the front paste down behind the jacket flap. (Hanrahan A26)
