New York: Macmillan, 1966 This Is An Ex School Library Book In Dust Jacket From 1966 (Macmillan), 6th Printing. There Is Damage To The Endpapers Where The Jacket Was Taped And There Is A Card Pocket On The Back Page. Gold Boards With Brown Vignette And Rubbing To The Lower Edge. Still A Bit Of Spine Label On The Jacket. Interior Pages Are Somewhat Grubby And Have Quite A Few Short Closed Tears. It Is Still Solid Although Unkempt. And This Is Because It Has Been Loved Near To Death! The Brute Family Rocks! They Eat Stick And Stone Stew! (There Is A Bit Of A Soppy Ending To This One, But Wait Until You Read The Others!).
