The first appearance of two short stories of Oz by Baum in one small 16mo-size volume; intended, at least in part (per the author's dedication) for his newest fans: "Even children who have not previously visited the marvelous fairyland of Oz will enjoy these little stories and want more of them". 16mo, Neill- illustrated glossy boards, 61 pp. Very Good; fairly notable peripheral points of wear (see scans), modest dust at covers, lightly penciled gift inscription from long ago on front free endpaper, barely visible.
