About This Item
Cassell and Company, Limited, 1910. hardcover. Acceptable. 476 p., clean and unmarked anywhere on strong paper, mildly age-toned, but occasionally foxed; lavishly illustrated; inlaid print on fine paper of little boy in sailor suit about to launch a toy boat; pictorial boards detached from text block, composed of sewn signatures, some of which have come detached.Skillful rebinding strongly recommended, as this a quite wonderful anthology of stories, articles, poems and "miscellaneous"--which included puzzles, a nature club, and a "Little Folk's Post Office.
