About This Item

New York, NY Random House, 1968. Hardcover Book-Club Edition (1968). Very Good+ in Very Good DJ: The Book shows just a touch of wear to the extremities; the text pages show the expected hint of tanning due to aging; a small crack at the interior front hinge (the hinges do not appear to be starting); the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, or labels. A handsome, nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing the mildest wear and a couple of unobtrusive flaws. Bright and clean. Corners sharp. Close to 'As New'. The DJ shows three small, closed tears to the top edge of the front panel and mild rubbing and faint soiling to same; unclipped; mylar-protected. Attractive and intact, showing minor flaws. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.5 x 5.8 x 0.5 inches). . 89 pages. Language: English. Weight: 8 ounces. Book-Club Edition (1968). Hardback with DJ. Jules Feiffer (born January 26, 1929) is an American syndicated cartoonist, most notable for his long-run comic strip titled Feiffer. He has created more than 35 books, plays and screenplays. In 1986, he won the Pulitzer Prize for his editorial cartooning in The Village Voice. Feiffer's plays include Little Murders (1967), Feiffer's People (1969), Knock Knock (1976), Elliot Loves (1990), The White House Murder Case, and Grown Ups. After Mike Nichols adapted Feiffer's unproduced play Carnal Knowledge as a 1971 film, Feiffer scripted Robert Altman's Popeye, Alain Resnais's I Want to Go Home, and the film adaptation of Little Murders.
