This wonderful Mabel Lucie Attwell children’s illustrated book was published by Raphael Tuck and Sons Limited London in their Golden Hours series of books in circa 1915, and contains the Brothers Grimm fairy tales Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Grethel, The Valliant Little Tailor, The Goose-Girl, and Rumpelstiltskin. The Mabel Lucie Attwell Little Red Riding Hood and Other Stories by The Brothers Grimm binding is in Very Good with the Mabel Lucie Attwell Little Red Riding Hood colour plate being in Fine condition and the binding being exceptionally crisp and attractive but with slight wear to the top and bottom of the spine and light marks to the back board. The pages are in overall Very Good condition with a rubber stamp to the front pastedown, discolouration to the front free endpaper and rear endpaper, partial separation of the frontispiece from the binding (but still firmly bound in), partial separation of the colour plate opposite page 18 but still bound-in, small losses to the margins of pages 61/62 and 63/64, and light spotting throughout.
