London: World Nobility and Peerage, 1959. Hardcover. Good. 12mos. 3 Volume Set, mismatched bindings. 812;858, (22); 788 pages, indexed. Hardcovers in red cloth or leather with embossed gilt designs on the bindings. Each book has a slightly different tone of red, and the whole is a mismatched set. Volume 1 is bound in embossed red cloth, made to look like leather. This volume is rather cocked or slanted. Volume 2 is bound in lighter red cloth, which is obviously cloth. This volume has a pale spot on the front cover near the bottom corner. Volume 3 appears to be bound in full leather and has all edges gilt. Bindings show rubbing and wear but are generally sound. Endpapers of all volumes are marbled. Count d'Angerville has signed volume three on the reverse of the front flyleaf. Volume 1 is dated 1959. The Preface to Volume 2 is dated 1962. The Preface to Volume 3 is dated 1964.
