About This Item
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1900. Hardcover. 12mo. Burgundy cloth with elaborate black and tan lettering and pictorial stamping. 147pp. 3 (out of 4) called-for full-page plates, numerous small line drawings. Good plus. Tight and handleable, though binding somewhat edgeworn and corner-bumped, with school name inked on front pastedown and occasional random text page smudges. Decent reading copy of the second printing of these 1899 excerpts from Seton-Thompson's well-known 1898 "Wild Animals I Have Known." Acceptable copy of a rather uncommon title.
