London, Hurst & Blackett, 1879 1st edition.. 2 volumes. Hardback, 7.5 x 5 inches. Bound in black morocco leather to spines and corners, pebbled cloth boards. Raised and gilt banding to spines, with gilt lettering. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good conditions. Some minor light rubbing to corners and raised banding on spines, else covers clean and smart. Some light foxing to endpapers, neat inscription to corner of title page “M.Holden.” A couple of minor handling marks to pages and minor spots to page edges, else very clean and tight copies. 312 & 314pp.

The village has a by-pass now which means there is easy access to the village and ample space for parking. Our shop is directly on the main road through the village.
