The Century Company, New York and London, 1923. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Grey coloured cloth covered boards with dark blue coloured embossed titles to the front panel and back strip. An novel from the early part of the 20th century. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges along with a little fraying. Bumping, rubbing and fraying to the book corners. The cloth of the book has become grubby and there are also stains. Sunning to the back strip with light tanning of the text block edges and age toning of the pages. Results of some insect activity can be seen to the front text edge. Offset tanning to the end pages, with original bookshop's sticker to the lower left hand corner of the free front end page. Previous owners details to the free front end page. A previous owner has cut out a image of the author and pasted to the title page. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [6], 3 - 379, [1] pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
