Avon Books. Good. 1992. Paperback. The spine and both covers, next to the spine, are creased from reading. The pages are clean, no tears or soiling. The pages and binding are tight. All three page edges are yellow stained. There is a black marker streak on the bottom page edge. A used bookstore's stamp is on the inside front cover and it spread to the first page as they closed the book too soon. The first page has their old price stamped on the page. The upper right corner of the front cover has two creases and the lower right corner's tip is creased. The glossy paper at all four corners of the spine is worn away. The tips of both left corners on the back cover are creased. The edges of the covers are scuffed from shelf wear. ; Cooper Macleish; Vol. 1; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 294 pages; Cooper MacLeish is a gutsy Vietnam vet and philosopher who surveys the mean streets of Chicago from his cab. Vivian Horstmann, the lost love from Cooper's postwar past, is dead. Cooper reads that her long, cold fall was a suicide, but he has his doubts.
