New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1929. Very nice copy that has been shockingly well preserved. His first book and a classic. Only flaw to book itself is light crimping at base of spine! Text is bright and supple. Title page states By special arrangement with Charles Scribner's Sons.near the bottom. Price intact jacket ($1.49) is bright and fresh with jacket design by Haberstock. Rear panel has ads for books by this publisher circa 1940 - 42 so probably printed then. Not a Wartime printing. Complete and unabridged. Tiny blemish on rear panel. In mylar. . Reprint. Hard Cover. Near Fine to Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
