Banks (1954-2013) published his first science fiction title, Consider Phlebas, in 1987, in which he introduced an anarchist utopian society named "The Culture". Look to Windward is a further title in the Culture series. Octavo. Original black boards, spine lettered in bronze, black endpapers. With dust jacket. Spine ends a little bumped; unclipped jacket edges lightly creased: a near-fine copy in like jacket.
