1898. Book Condition: Near Fine. Glasgow 1898. Article at pp. 1-50, 22 text illustrations of scientific equipment designed by Kelvin. Octavo. Especially printed for Magnus Maclean and signed by him as a gift to Professor George Francis FitzGerald. In original printed wrappers with some very slight toning on the edges. Near fine. Professor FitzGerald was at Trinity College and Professor Maclean worked in Lord Kelvin's laboratory for many years and honored his mentor and friend with this publication. A rare find. We found it in London at Sotheran's.
