New York: Belmont Books, [1966]. First edition. A fine copy, unread. (26651). Small octavo, pictorial wrappers. Belmont B50-731. Paperback original. Ghost story with gothic overtones set on the English moors. The author is well known for his contributions to the comic book field, he worked during the Golden Age of comics starting in 1939 for various publishers including a stint at Timely (Marvel), he did some writing and penciling of Captain America, Human Torch, Young Allies, etc. In the 1950s he worked with Stan Lee at Atlas before moving on the West coast to work in television. In the 1960s he is known for writing the issue of Iron Man introducing the Black Widow (using the pseudonym N. Korok). Hubin, p. 681.
