United States Atomic Energy Commission, California, 1968. First Edition. Softcover (Side-stapled). Good Condition (ex-library). Illustrator: Photography. Abstract by author. The text is illustrated with black and white line drawings and black and white photography. Plaintext paperback binding with black coloured titles to the front panel. Quoting from the abstract, page 3, " ... Stop-motion photography of projectiles in-flight is a practical method for evaluating artillery weapon components by high resolution pictures when rotational distortion cannot be tolerated." This book is an ex-library copy, from the Defence Standards Laboratories Library, and has the faults of same: – library stamps to the front and rear book covers, including cancellation stamps. Library card attached to the verso of the rear cover and there is a paperclip piece of library paper for putting the a book on reserve attached to the title page. The paperclip has started to rust and the marks can be seen to the verso of the front panel and to page 3. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
