London: Heinemann, 1955. Bound in the publishers original blue cloth hard covers with gilt title lettering to spine and front board. The 140 pages remain in clean, presentable condition with no inscriptions. Cloth binding has slight crease and fading to spine but otherwise very good. Text remains clear and sharp. The photograph supplied is a picture of the book and we are happy to send more images on request. Overall this is a nice copy of a much loved Graham Greene classic.. First Edition. Very Good/No Jacket. FIRST EDITION.
Synopsis
Graham Greene (1904-1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the foreign office. His many books include The Third Man , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
