Boards edgeworn with brief exposure to corners and slight chipping and loss to spine ends. Spine faded and gilt lettering heavily rubbed; touch of surface scratching. Slight lean to boards; signs of repair to front hinge and title page gutter, but overall binding holding soundly. Pages clean and unmarked.
Best remembered for the origin of the fictional utopia Shangri-La, Hilton's novel was also the basis for the 1937 Frank Capra film of the same name.
