About This Item
Garden City, Ny: Doubleday & Company, Inc., 1954. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Probable first edition considering the vintage 1950s Paul Elder Bookstore adhesive label affixed to the inside back board. In a postmodern twist, this label is more valuable to collectors of biblioephemera than the book itself. Pages yellowing, especially endpapers and margins, with no impact on text which is clean and unmarked. Boards rubbed especially at spine tips, separation gap, binding not as tight as new (gently used), missing dust jacket.
