Doubleday & Co., New York, 1954. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/--. 8 1/2 H x 5 3/4 W x 1 3/8 inch. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book Interior NEAR FINE / Boards Very Good Plus / Dust Jacket Missing. Sewn binding. Rag edge pages. Book looks very gently read. Boards are beige leatherette, lettering red or pink. Book spine is solid, very slightly cocked, if title ink was red then spine is slightly sunned as text is now pink but no other signs of sunning, head and toe edges of spine have slight edge wear, no rips. Book boards are flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, no spine creases, no sunning, very small light bruise to board edge on back, almost no edge wear, perhaps a very slight bit of shelf soil since boards are not protected by dust jacket. Page edges top red, two natural, don’t appear sunned, top has small water drop mark. Inner end papers are white with a slight bit of age darkening. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Owner’s name, date, small, in ink on ffep. No photos, no illustrations.

I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
