London: Jacob Tonson at the Judge's-Head near the Inner-Temple-Gate in Fleetstreet, 1695. Second edition. Wraps. Very Good. 21.5 x 16.5 cm. Octavo. 85 pages. Bound in plain, old, grey wrappers. Stated second edition, published the same year as the first. Previous owner's more modern decorative bookplate inside front cover. A bit of abrasion on the title page, effecting the top layer of the page and causing loss of the "T" in "Theatre". Piece out of first text page (A2 recto), approximately 5 x 1 cm which does not effect the text. Small closed tear to last page. Some creasing to the bottom right corner of cover and first few pages. In remarkably good condition for its age. The play first premiered 30 April 1695 at Betterton's co, Lincoln's Inn Fields. ESTC R7400.
