Black cloth boards with yellow, red and white lettering on spine. No soiling or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pink endpapers; small previous owner greeting dated 1954 on front free endpaper - no other marks. Pages and edges are clean. 125 pages. Clean illustrated jacket is price clipped, has edge wear and 1" chipping at spine ends; nice photo of author on rear panel; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. The story of a carnival girl who found her love among puppets. .
