Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Cracking to front hinge with netting exposed. Binding slightly loose. Previous owner's name redacted on front pastedown. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Boards are slightly bowed.

Illustrated dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and red coloured titles to the back strip. Another adventure of Drusilla Cathcart and her friends; this time in search of culture. Softening and fading of the back strip, commensurate with loss of dustwrapper. Bumping of the book corners with a little rubbing of the lower book edges scattered foxing to the book panels. Age toning to the text block edges and pages with foxing to the top text block edges. Very faint offset tanning and foxing to the end pages. Fading to the back strip. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. The top edge shows ships, tears and creasing and the lower edge is a little rubbed. Rubbing of the dustwrapper panels and sunning and staining of the back strip. Browning and faint foxing to the verso. A previous owner has made a small blue coloured ink notation to the front fold over panel "F.B. 207". Size: 12mo (standard paperback). Some fading to lower 1.5" of spine. Top edge of front cover has been ever so slightly nibbled by a rodent(?). Inscription in pencil to front endpaper. Heavy foxing to endpapers and page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn with tape repairs on verso, loss to base of spine and some slight loss at other corners.
