Mrs. Wright was born at Fredericton and did her Ph.D.on the subject. Families seeking information on the passengers arriving in the Spring Fleet of 1783 will learn the country of origin, military service, land grants, and/or place of residence of every head of family or single male, 18 years or older. This book is an excellent resource by a well-qualified author who was born at Fredericton and did her doctoral dissertation on the settlement of New Brunswick. Full of well-organized information, and lots of notes citing sources at the end. Not the only book on the subject, but the ONE to look for! Scarce. .
