Vaduz, Liechtenstein: Quick, 1960. Cloth. Fine/Very Fine. (4th) Slightly smaller, thinner book, dark green cloth with very bright gilt title and author on top front, 53 pages, illustrations throughout, story made into a film. Gallico lived in Liechtenstein, story originally appeared in Christmas 1953 Sketch in London. Signed on dedication page (dedicated to the Baroness von Faliz-Fein): "To Heidi, Sincerely. Baron von Falz-Fein, Liechtenstein, 3 Oct 76." DJ has yellow background with color photo of the child Baroness with a Guernsey cow. Film starred Maxmilian Schnell--Oscar Winner, 1962. Cartoon illustrated on DJ back. DJ and book, both Very Fine.
