Good condition. The covers are soil ed with some spotting and chipping; very lightly warped -- though less than commonly found. [A publisherâ€™s slip notice inside st ates that the book is prone to warping. Losse at the front joint. Prior ownerâ€™s bookplate inside front cover. Text block is clea n and bright; some of the tissue guards for the etchings are crea sed. The book is notoriously prone to wear and, despite these def ectsâ€™ it is one of the more attractive copies we have seen. .
