With a full-page INSCRIPTION SIGNED by the future President on the front endpaper: "To Bill [?]/My old schoolmate/and devoted friend/Lyndon B Johnson." Books genuinely signed by LBJ are quite scarce, and most of those are copies of THE VANTAGE POINT, usually signed on a bookplate. Early titles such as this with contemporary inscriptions are uncommon on the market.
