Published for Private Distribution , 1917. Handsomely bound in brown quarter leather, gilt titled and ruled with five raised spine bands. Photo frontispiece of M. Morris White with tissue-guard. This copy INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR "To my dear friend Mary Osborne Lamb from the author with love. April 22 - 1918." The subject of the book was of old and honorable Southern ancestry. The family was among the earliest settlers of Virginia. The Whites were Quakers and the ancestors were among the first who joined the Carolina colony. . Quarter Leather. Very Good.
