Preface is in English, biography is in German, including many press excerpts in German and French, and a French poem about Munkácsy by Adrien Dézamy. Presents the life and artistic development of Hungarian painter Mihaly Munkácsy (1844-1900). Includes an annotated catalogue (in German) of many works, each illustrated with a fine plate. Very good condition. Text in German with English introduction.
