Card covers show very light shelf wear.; A bright, solid book.; B&W Photographs; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 120 pages; Lake Williston was created when the WAC Bennett Dam north of Prince George was built to increase the production of elecricity powering the province of British Columbia. It went into production in 1968. At the base of the lake a town was planned to house workers brought in to open the area to logging. Mackenzie became a thriving community in the lumber rich area, with many peripheral businesses and services developed to service the community. .
