77, 1870 Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Two volumes of the nineteenth century periodical Macmillan's Magazine. Volumes XXII containing May to October 1870 and XXXVI containing May to October of 1877. Macmillan's Magazine was a monthly British periodical originally published between 1859 and 1907. The magazine published literary fiction and non-fiction as well as literary criticism and other interesting observations. Contributors to these volumes include Anthony Trollope with his work Sir Harry Hotspur of Humblethwaite, and Austin Dobson. Condition: In half morocco bindings with marbled boards. Externally, generally smart with rubbign to the boards and slightly to the joints and extremities. Front hinge to 1870 volume slightly strained. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Overall Condition: Very Good.
