HB. 5 vols, bound in 6, 4to, various bindings: Vol. II, cont. half morocco, teg, both boards detached, some wear to head/foot of spine; Vol. III+IV, rebound in in later half morocco in similar style; Suppl. III + IV (text and plates bound separately), bound in 3 vols, red buckram. Some neat ink annotations to text and ink names neatly added to most plates. Occasional foxing. From the Library of British lepidopterist, Barry Goater (1930-2022), with his bookplate.. Vol. II: Palearctic Bombyces & Sphinges; Vol. III: Palearctic Noctuae; Vol. IV: Palearctic Geometrae, with the Supplement to Vol. III + IV (Supplement to Vol. IV incomplete with pp. 1-248 (lacking the later published pages, 721-764 [additions, corrections and index]), and 26 (of 53) plates (no's 1-12, 15-17, 19-29) only..
