A tight, clean, sound copy in red cloth covered boards with gold lettering on the spine with minor oveall shelf wear plus a gift inscription in black marker on the inside surface of the front board plus the original owner's bookplate on the front endpaper. The dust jacket shows minor overall wear plus light edge wear and yellowing overall plus some heavy chipping at the front top right corner with a piece (about 0.25"x0.5") missing plus there are two closed tears on the back, one (about 0.25") on the top edge and one (about 0.5") on the bottom edge. An anthology of articles from Yankee Magazine that bring together the lives, legends, facts, and foibles of the many Yankees, past and present. Designed by Carl F. Kirkpatrick. Illustrated with black and white photographs throughout. 319p.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
