No bumping or wear. Binding is tight, pages and edges are clean and bright. Clean blank endpapers; no names, writing or marks. 284 pages. Clean dust jacket is not price clipped (3.75 on front inside flap), has small chips at top and bottom spine edges, slight edge wear. Jacket design from a painting by Frank Vining Smith. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
