Andre Deutsch Ltd, 1966. Hardcover. Fair. Ludwig Bemelmans. 1966 Second Impression. Good Hardcover in a Fair Dustjacket. Oversize colour illustrated boards. Spine slanted, edge and corner wear, wear heavier and a few dents at bottom edge, bumped at corners, bumped at head and foot of spine. Board colours bright. Interior is good. No writing. Light soil mark on copyright page, a few light rust marks on the foredge, pages a bit age yellowed. Binding is good. DJ with edge and corner wear, chipped at head and foot of spine, closed edge tears, spine panel sunned, pencil tracing to the on front panel, a few tape repairs on verso, rubbed. Synopsis
Pepito has moved to England. To help celebrate his birthday, Miss Clavel and the girls pay him a visit. When his mother won't let Pepito keep one of his birthday presents--a horse--Madeline is more than willing to help out.
