This early John Rhode "spy thriller," set behind the lines in Flanders during the Great War. The author was a serving British army officer who attained the rank of Major, receiving a Military Cross. Book is very good+ and bright. Slight mark to front board. Light edge rubbing. Contents good. The wrapper is very good and bright. Edges rubbed and nicked. Light soiling to covers.
