This is a hardcover book with 208 pages including lots of black and white photos and illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The second end paper shows some rippling. The pages are otherwise clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1972 as the published date. The dust jacket is about 99% intact with a one-inch chip on the top of the back next to the spine, a half-inch chip on the top corner of the back, light edgewear and light soiling. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
