Pages are creamy white, fresh, crisp, clean and unmarked -- obviously never read. No age toning or foxing. Full color frontispiece. 1982. Fifth Edition (so stated). Affixed to the copyright page is a small label that reads: "The Magic Presence, Vol. II, Library of Congress Catalog Card Number: 84-50382." Bound in the original gilt-stamped green pebble-grain leatherette. From a 2014 review by Deneen Vukelic: "If I was ever to be brought to a desert island and could only bring one book. This would most certainly be the book I would choose. It's a love story, a book that heals you while you are reading, and teaches you about unconditional love on so many levels. When you keep reading it as I have read it 4 times so far, you keep gaining wisdom, and reinforcing the lessons as you apply them to your everyday life.". Fifth Edition (so stated). Hardcover. New condition/No dust jacket. Illus. by NOT a library discard. 8vo. xiv, (2), 401pp. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.

We always take the time necessary to carefully package your order so that it arrives safely and securely. Shipping cost estimates are based on an average size book and are intended to cover only our actual expenses. About About Books

About Books (Genny and Michael Winne, proprietors, formerly of Parsippany, New Jersey) has been selling rare and OP books since 1985. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines. Our inventory of over 40,000 volumes is especially strong in the specialties listed, but contains fine books in a variety of other fields as well. Because most of our books are stored in protective boxes, rather than on shelves, they cannot be viewed as a whole. If you wish to visit us to examine specific titles, please provide 24 hours notice and we will make them available for your inspection. Phone calls to (702) 750-2722 are welcome, but please, only between the hours of 8am and 10pm (west coast time).
