Engraved frontis with tissue guard. Brown cloth boards with spine stamped in gilt; yellow endpapers. Boards rubbed at corners and edgeworn, with chipping and shallow loss at spine ends and a few brief splits along joints. Spine a bit cocked. Library bookplate of Essex Institute to front pastedown noting "Estate of Abbot Walker," with gift inscription to Walker dated 1874 on front free endpaper. Small bookseller's ticket for Samuel Weiser Inc at bottom of front pastedown. Brief closed tear at top corner of front free endpaper. Front board a bit shaky but binding is holding. Pages unmarked.
