About This Item
NY: William Morrow & Company. Fine in Very Good dustjacket. 1978. First American Edition. Hardcover; First Printing. Sharp and clean book! The dustjacket is very nice other than a repaired chip and light edgewear. Has the original library silver foil on the spine, but was never used by a library. Zero marks or writing. Just wonderful! The jacket is protected in a new, removable archival sleeve. Price was clipped from the top of the front jacket flap. ; In English. "From Holland comes a story of sorcery in modern dress, in which magic occurs as part of the everyday, for those who have eyes to see. Chris found the magic stone when he stole a ride in Frank's grandmother's wheelchair. At first he did not realize the stone was unusual and was startled by his new-found ability to read the minds of others and control their behavior. Then one day he followed Grandmother, encountered the members of the Fine Thread Association, and so discovered that she was a witch...." ; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" ; 224 pages .
