New York & London: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1935. Cloth. Good+/No Jacket. Bailey, Vernon Howard. Charming Book describing 1930s New York, with many evocative B&W Illustrations by Vernon Howard Bailey. Notes by Arthur Bartlett Maurice. The right hand Pages have Full-Page illustrations whilst the Explanatory Text is on the left. Frontis illustrated with "the great Canon of Lower Broadway". Title Page illustrated with a Skyline. Blue cloth cover with Silver Lettering and Linear design to front & spine. 255 Pages, 1.2 Kilos, 10 3/4" Tall. Cloth at front and spine very faded. Small closed tear to cloth at topf of spine and a very small tear on right side of spine (see photo). Previous owner's initials, dated 1935 on ffep. No other inscriptions, Pages in very good, clean condition. A few very light spots of foxing, mostly marginal. Book weighs 1.2 Kilos so Shipping outside UK will be a little extra. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
