London, United Kingdom: Century, 1983. Book. Very good-. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st UK edition 1st impression of this key title. Notable imperfections: Unclipped dustjacket has creasing to the top edge, and some blotchy foxing, mostly to the front flap and a little to the edge of the rear flap edges. It exhibits slight wear. The book has the typical age toning to the text block and some lines to early leave and has blotchy foxing to the front free endpaper, a few spots to the compressed page edges and is dusty to the top edge. All corners are slightly bumped and the book appears to have been dropped on the head of the spine. Page 12/13 have a dirty mark to 1 corner and the prior two pages have a corner crease. A quite pleasing copy of a scarce 1st edition that retains strong colours to the jacket. Jacket has been placed in a new protective sleeve after photos. .
